Strange structures in China
Lotus Building, Jiangsu

Phuc Kien long, Phuc: Tho long is the residence of the Nhan Gia in remote valleys in the mountains of Manxi, Fujian province. Over 20,000 long ago here is considered the "living fossil" of ancient Chinese construction architecture. These houses are usually round, square and oval. Each earth can be considered as a small village or "emirate" of a large family. The largest earthquake left today has an area of more than 10,000 m2, accommodating up to 800 people or a living place for 80 families. Photo: Jordhammond, Anikas_travelling_photos.

Phoenix town, Hunan: The old town in the west of Hunan province is an attractive destination, attracting the attention of the "people who love to move" internationally. Phuong Hoang is an ancient town with hundreds of years of age with many different types of architecture. Prominent is the long-distance di‌eu, the ancient type of stilt house that intersects the traditional Mieu’s traditional architecture and Han’s culture. Unlike stilt houses often found with the whole house erected on a wooden pillar, di‌eu long has only one half of the floor resting on rows lined against the ridge or into the water. Guiyang, Guizhou Apartment: Guizhou is famous for its villages, majestic canyons and waterfalls, but there is no shortage of dense "concrete forests". Long Uyen residential area is a typical example with large balcony apartments stacked up like giant mazes, without escape. Unique old architecture and bustling colors create interesting visual illusions for viewers. These skyscrapers are an interesting destination for photographers and visitors who want to find new angles from simple life. Photo: @_deepsky, Jordhammond.

Thien Tu Hotel, Ha Bac: Located in Lang Phuong, Tam Ky City, Hebei Province, the great Thien Tu Hotel stands out and is completely different from the surrounding area. Possessing a spectacular design, the image of three giants of the genius Phuc Loc Tho "stood in the middle of the east street" in the front of the building immediately impressed the people. Guinness World Records has recorded Thien Tu Hotel as "the biggest image building" in 2011.

Lotus Building, Jiangsu: The building is another unique architecture located in Wujin Town, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. Looks like a blooming lotus flower rising from the water, the beautiful structure of the building is designed from Studio 505, Australian architecture company. Inside the "lotus petals" are meeting rooms, conference centers, galleries and entrances that can be found underneath the lake. Photo: John Gollings.

National Thai Arts Center, Chongqing : Chongqing Art Museum and National Thai Arts Center are all located in this red-inspired design building. The building houses Ngu Luong Dich, Sichuan wine: Located in Nghi Tan (Sichuan) homeland of the most popular Bach Tuu wine in China, this strange building is the headquarters of Ngu Luong Dich company. Built on a land of over 6,200 m2, the "giant wine jar" has a height of 56.2 m with 13 floors and a capacity of about 300 people. Not only the headquarters, the street around the complex also has shaped buildings like drinks and small wine jars along the way. Photos: Pinterest.

Pyramid-shaped building, Con Son: Inspired by the image of traditional terraced fields in China, 18-storey apartment building looks like a surreal pyramid model created from stacked lego blocks . After completion in 2013, the 100-meter high building has become a popular attraction. Visitors admire this massive project not only feel excited but also overwhelmed and dizzy with the strange and unique architecture.
