Accordingly, on 24/3, the homepage of Asian Football Federation honored 5 ASEAN regional legends including goalkeeper Neil Etheridge (Philippines), defender Soh Chin Aun (Malaysia), midfielder Kiatisak Senamuang ( Thailand), striker Bambang Pamungkas and striker Le Cong Vinh (Vietnam).

All 5 players mentioned above have left a strong impression in the hearts of regional fans during their peak competition.

“Thank you AFC for choosing me as one of the 5 legendary ASEAN players, congratulations to everyone who has been chosen. They are former players of each national team, of good quality and very smart. This honor is a source of encouragement for me during my 15 years of being a professional football player and coach of Thai Tel, ”said Kiatisak.

Kiatisak was born in 1973, used to play for Hoang Anh Gia Lai club for a long time from 2002 to 2006, helping the mountain town team to have two consecutive championships in 2003 and 2004.

A remarkable detail, Kiatisak is the major reason that talented midfielder Lee Nguyen left Hoang Anh Gia Lai after the 2010 season when both had irreconcilable conflicts that caused the German election to stand out.

After the farewell of the Pleiku Stadium team, Kiatisak returned to Thailand to take the position of U-23 country and made great strides in his career, he helped Thailand to win the 2013 Olympic Games gold medal after many years of waiting.
